Seven and Heaven
There once was a cat named Seven,
Who played with a mouse named Heaven,
They fell in a cup,
And couldn’t get up,
Until they were both eleven.

Cooling off the heat of the day
In the dark, dark, night.

Gathered nuts
Beside the old oak tree
Because winter was coming

Glimmering moonbeams
Fall onto the glassy, still
Waters of the pond,
The chickadee on
The snow chirped merrily
On Boughs of holly

Limericks
There once was a bird named Phil
Who couldn’t fly up a hill
He asked his mother
If he would ever bother
She laughed, “When you’re older you will!”
There once was a golden snail
Who could tell ten fairy tales
He told the gardener’s daughter
And she told her father
And he told his father, Kail.
